This Polynesian half sleeve tattoo was designed for Piermarco so as to include a tattoo that we had previously designed for him, which represented a scorpion integrated to a fern leaf with some letters and elements related to the warrior (spearheads and octopus tentacles).
The scorpion protects the family (Tāmaru means
"protection"), represented by the turtle, with the help of the two tiki
on the sides.
The flax leaves and braids symbolize union and the sun with the
Marquesan cross represents joy and balance.
The two birds chasing each other symbolize the help always granted
to the loved ones.
Few people near the central part represent his closest friends.
The path of Kamehameha shows a difficult path that leads to prosperity (fish) and stability (mountains), with achieved successes represented by the stepping stones at the base.
