This tribal lion head tattoo with Polynesian elements was prepared for Marcel to celebrate the birth of his second daughter (a lion).
She is symbolized centrally by Tefio (a beautiful woman) and by a
koru (new life), with Marcel being the warrior who protects her and
family union (flax leaves).
Spearheads and shark teeth symbolize strength and courage, and the tiki
eyes protection.
The star on top of the koru symbolizes importance, and the chasing birds the support he'll always grant her.
Her birthdate is disguised in the mane using maorigrams as well as two facing koru representing father and daughter.
