This small yet complex Polynesian tattoo for the foot was designed for Alina and it is shaped based on her life and what's important for her.
Her children, represented by the frangipani flowers, are central and
protected by the lizard (good luck, health) and by the hammerhead shark
motif representing tenacity and strength.
The chasing birds represent support always granted to the loved ones and
the lokahi symbol stands for harmony with nature and spirits.
The sun (joy) made of mountains (stability) designs a spiral on the ankle, ending with a manta for freedom and beauty.
On the foot side, a dolphin with a dot between waves represents the importance of joy through the bad and the good, and the enata represents a warrior, who follows her direction with tenacity (the star and octopus tentacle), a volcano among islands.
