The phoenix is a mythical creature that burns when old to be born again from its own ashes as a new individual, and it represents a transformation, a new start often coming after a challenging period.

We prepared this small stylized phoenix to be placed on the rib cage following the curve of the breast, and we included within the wings two letters that are important for Marie, for whom it was designed.
