This Polynesian tattoo with three small turtles represents Monica´s family.
All turtles include an initial on the front right flipper, in the form of a fishing hook as a symbol of prosperity, while the left flipper is a tiki and the back flippers are tiki hands for protection.
A sun formed by mountains connects all three turtles together as a symbol of joy and of the mountains loved by the family.
The greater turtle includes the couple on the shell, with the lokahi symbol to represent harmony with nature, while the two smaller turtles, wich represent their children, include respectively a flower of frangipani and shark teeth (beauty, strength and adaptability), and two birds that follow each other (support always granted to loved ones).
