This lower leg sleeve tattoo is mainly inspired to African cultures,
incorporating elements from East and South Africa, plus two Polynesian
elements as well: spearheads for the warrior and flax leaves
representing family union.
Next to the flax leaves we placed several African symbols for stability,
abundance, unity, protection, and the initials of James´ children in
Tigrinya alphabet, between the leaves and the great fortress symbol
representing being in charge, on top of the front part where only the
symbols for adoration and faithfulness, representing the union between
man and woman, are positioned higher.
Spearheads and the warrior motif around the lower edge represent him as the warrior protecting his family and guaranteeing abundance and stability to them.
On the back of the leg there are symbols that represent creativity and craftsmanship, discipline, experience, and courage.
The colored legenda below helps identifying the main elements within
the tattoo:
